The Initial Meeting
The Design process starts with a meeting at the clients home. We use this meeting to discuss life style, living needs, project budget
As Built Drawings
We then measure the existing structure and create a plan which will generate accurate 3D views of the existing structure. This process can take several hours depending on the size of the project. This gives us a starting point from which to start making our modifications
Conceptual Drawings
Once the on site measurement data has been entered and the as built drawings are complete, We can start the Conceptual drawings. These drawings are created using the notes information gathered during the initial meeting. Using this information the designer creates a number of plans with different ideas and option in them to give the client somewhere to start.
Communication
Most of the communication after the initial meeting is done using our virtual meeting room. This enables us to communicate frequently with our clients throughout the design process but save both of us valuable time and fuel. Another tool we like to use is the Chief Architect Client Viewer. The Chief Architect Viewer is a free program our clients can use to open, view, and make editing notes to plans they receive via email form us. Click Here to download Chief Architect Viewer.
